Alexandra Rodriguez, MPH and UF Public Health PhD student in the Social and Behavioral Sciences developed a grant-funded, mural-based vaccine confidence project which was selected for a Cam Busch Award (Honorable Mention) by the National Organization of Arts in Health.

This mural was my contribution to this project. My main motivation as an artist is to use visuals as a bridge between the viewer and resources that can improve their lives; my personal work is oriented towards mental health awareness and education. In the case of this project, that resource is a vaccine that can save innumerable lives.
